Teaching cemented my own coding skills and my ability to explain code structures, and hiring/managing employees taught me how to vet and work with employees.During my time at Code Cappuccino as a Software Developer, I developed and implemented several automated solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Firstly, I created a database in AWS and Python scripts to automate the collection and storage of class logs, streamlining the overall efficiency of the data collection and updating system and reducing the time necessary to manage student data by approximately six hours per week. Secondly, I automated the updating of classes taught with a class schedule and tutor input to reliably keep track of student accounts receivable and payable. Lastly, I designed and coded a lookup table that provided tutors and managers with easy access to current student data, streamlining their workflow and improving overall productivity.
