About Jeffrey E. Thomas

Currently responsible for oversight of international programs (summer and short-term study abroad and student exchange programs), management of the LL.M. program (primarily for international students), and annual ABA reporting (as well as other data collection requests). Teaching Insurance Law and Torts. Primary research area is Insurance Law, secondary research area is the interaction between law and culture, especially around the notion of rule of law. Editor-in-Chief of the New Appleman on Insurance project for LexisNexis. Many of my articles and papers are available on SSRN: http://ssrn.com/author=288608Substantial cross-cultural teaching and lecturing experience in the U.S. and abroad. Fulbright Fellow to China (1999-2000) and Russia (2010). Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Married to Karin Thomas, father of four children.
