Application Engineer
In total, I spent 8 years with TriHealth, with the majority of my time spent in this role as an Epic Engineer within our IS Service Center team. In this role, I worked with the Epic Ambulatory, Acute, ADT, Cadence, HIM/HB/PB, Integrated, Perioperative, and Radiant modules of Epic (but also working with a myriad of systems outside of the Epic environment as well). Whether it be creating and deploying mnemonics, helping end users with technical issues (which often involved workflow related issues as well), providing end user training and support as updates roll out, serving as a first line of defense for any tickets regarding any I.S. issues (whether they be Epic-focused, desktop, networking, server, security, PACS, or any number of other systems we provided support for), to documenting and upkeeping relevant information in Knowledge Base Articles as well as planning and implementing training for team members.Aside from my day-to-day duties, I was also tasked with creating training plans and coordinating their execution among team members as well as various contracting groups we worked with. The goal with this was to ensure all levels of service met the high expectations we held as a group top provide our end users with the best quality service possible.
