Responsible for identification, research, testing and evaluation of emerging technology to be used in physical and technical protection. Lead Project Manager and Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for a multi-million-dollar project portfolio in Diplomatic Facilities across the United Kingdom and Europe. Responsible for construction management and operations and maintenance at assigned site. Worked with DOD and British counterparts to successfully manage multiple large construction projects while also focused on developing and implementing Operations and Maintenance programs at site and within the European Area of Responsibility. Task manager for contracted O&M team focused on daily break fix and small to medium construction projects. Introduced comprehensive electrical safety program to enhance safety and limit power outages and disruptions. Developed SOPs for critical power switching and maintenance to enhance uptime. Successfully managed preventative maintenance of switchgear and generators that had not been properly maintained for over 30 years, increasing uptime and preventing catastrophic damage. Trained and mentored team in electrical safety and O&M best practices.

Project Manager, COR, Electrical SME for CONUS and OCONUS diplomatic facilities. Worked closely with internal and external contractors to manage multi-million-dollar switchgear and UPS recaps. Numerous trips OCONUS to provide support for field projects as an Electrical SME, assisting with drawing reviews, troubleshooting, installation, O&M, and safety. Led asset verification and facility condition assessment for HQs campus ultimately leading towards thousands of newly developed maintenance tasks and a comprehensive automated annual maintenance plan for all power and cooling systems. Worked with senior management to develop five- and ten-year recap plans. Travelled CONUS to attend witness testing for critical power gear. Mentored junior electrical team members and taught safe best practices and NFPA 70 electrical codes, theory, and calculations. I also served as a member of the Workforce Leadership Council, which acted as a conduit between the workforce and senior leadership. Part of my role in the council was to lead a team that implemented a new onboarding framework that helped to welcome new employees and ensure that they were trained and mentored accordingly. Part of this training and mentorship focused on promoting valuation of diversity of thought and individual backgrounds. I was also a charter member of the Innovation Cell which was charged with identifying and researching new technology for use within Facilities.

Led teams responsible for critical power UPS, generator, and switchgear operation and maintenance. Oversaw Critical Power team comprised of UPS, Switchgear, relay, SCADA, and Fire Alarm technicians in creating techniques and procedures to maintain obsolete critical power and cooling systems that were required to operate nonstop. Revamped UPS and critical power emergency response procedures. Worked with contracted manufacturer support on annual UPS maintenance contract, developing statements of work, meeting with potential contractors, evaluating and choosing contract awards. Responsible for monthly meetings and coordination of all UPS maintenance schedules with various customers. Managed several multimillion-dollar recapitalizations of critical electrical infrastructure including UPS, batteries, switchgear, and distribution panels. Stood up Electrical PM Working Group that focused on establishing a robust PM schedule for all gear and on communicating the importance of preventative maintenance to site leadership. Worked on black start team in order to document and manage planned site outage events. Successfully PM'd several 20–30-year-old load centers that had previously never been touched after installation. Worked with safety office to introduce a comprehensive electrical safety and arc flash program. While in Chantilly, Worked as project manager with facilities department on multimillion dollar rotary UPS / switchgear recap and SCADA system recapitalization. Worked with contractors on daily operations and maintenance plans and recap planning efforts. Responsible for design, build, and implementation of a SharePoint based tool that helped communicate worldwide critical utility outages to leadership and the community.

Led team of electricians that were responsible for one million square foot site electrical maintenance and construction. Key responsibilities included data center electrical construction and maintenance, site drawing and one-line updates, and emergency troubleshooting and repairs. Assisted with formulation and implementation of new standards for emergency lighting installation and testing. Led several emergency outage repair efforts. Worked closely with government facilities team to support electrical outages and temporary power installation for large scale renovation and construction projects. Participated in interview panels for prospective employees and participated in training and mentoring of new hires. Assisted site leadership with data center electrical design and construction plans. Assisted facilities engineering as an electrical SME, helping with new designs and drawing reviews. Installed new site wide SCADA system. Fire alarm system programming and troubleshooting throughout site.

Managed medium to large (20-80) teams of electricians and technicians performing large commercial construction and renovation projects ranging from stadium and arena venues to high rise casinos, hospitals, and data centers. Responsible for preconstruction/construction activities including building teams, scheduling, and financial and material planning and procurement, daily planning and taskings, troubleshooting, and reports to senior officials. Accountable for post construction closeout documentation, creation of O&M procedures, and training responsible parties in proper O&M activities. Developed and implemented site safety programs to ensure safe working practices among teams. Trained and mentored junior apprentices and coached them towards completion of Journeyman certifications.
