Cardiovascular Program Intern
CurrentI spent the summer of 2024 researching the effects of antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) treatment on murine and iPSC-derived cardiomyocytes to evaluate the potential of a treatment for a rare, genetic cardiovascular disorder. I worked with Multi Channel Systems multielectrode arrays (MEAs) to measure the electrophysiological effects of the therapy. My work helped develop a program with the ultimate goal of developing a drug capable of restoring the quality of life of patients diagnosed with this condition.
