The instructors course provided an overview and instruction on the policy and procedure of the Enhanced Screening Portal (ESP) use during the security screening procedures. As an instructor, I provided instruction to experienced officers in the use of and demonstrated proficiency in use of the L3 Pro Vision 2 – Enhanced Screening Portal (ESP) and the Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) software for detecting threats on one’s body to mitigate risks to the Congressional community.

I performed name checks in the E agent (WALES, NCIC, III), adjudicating all records that were received from the FBI through the AFIS fingerprinting system. I was responsible for verifying warrants, responsible for maintaining the Live Scan Data base, responding to outside agencies LE inquires, on occasion fingerprinting and creating BAC's (Building Access Credentials/ID Cards). I also took appropriate law Enforcement action and processed individuals who were found to have active warrants local jurisdictions.
