About Jeffrey Hartman

Founder of Ukrainian Action, a volunteer-run non-profit dedicated to supporting the survival of Ukrainian citizens and development of Ukraine. Twenty years after serving as a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine, I responded to the full scale invasion by leaving my day job trading commodities to focus on building an impactful non-profit organization to address Ukraine's emergency response needs and future recovery opportunities.Over 15 years of commercial experience in energy and emerging markets, originating and negotiating complex contracts across the energy value chain in Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, specialising in carbon and renewable energy development, oil & gas marketing, energy trading and risk management backed by a successful track record in challenging multicultural environments. Multilingual with an MSc in International Finance & Development. Lived and worked in 9 countries.
