Alloy was formed in February of 2015 to provide leasing and factoring solutions to support the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME's) in Mexico. This sector of the economy has limited access to the capital they need to grow. We also provide mezzanine capital to give companies in Mexico and the US the ability to support rapid growth and/or recapitalization opportunities in order to position themselves for long term value creation. We target situations in the US where a significant portion of the business activity is in Mexico and/or ownership is Hispanic.

While actively researching my next opportunity, I provided advisory and consulting services to for-profit and non-profit organizations. I also enjoyed doing volunteer work with some non-profit groups.

The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN) is a non-profit, network organization that fights hunger and food waste by creating, supporting and strengthening food banks in over 30 countries. During my time at GFN, we created and expanded numerous partnerships and collaborations with world-class companies and government organizations both within and outside the food and grocery industry. The financial profile of the organization was strengthened considerably and the impact provided to the food banks in the network increased substantially. The number of countries where network food banks operated or were under development more than doubled, and over 1.2 billion pounds of food was rescued and distributed to the hungry by food banks in the network in the most recent year, thus avoiding costly and unacceptable waste of nutritious food. GFN served as a domain expert in hunger alleviation and food waste mitigation issues, and I was an active speaker in key global forums.
