Mr. Kline owns and is President of InMar Technologies LLC, www.inmartechnologies.com a small business specializing in the application of naval architecture, mechanical engineering, and hydrodynamics in maritime technology solutions. Mr. Kline is a registered PE and has 35 years of engineering and program management experience. Mr. Kline recently served as Navatek Ltd.’s Vice President of Maritime Systems and directed the capture and development of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) ASW Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), the ONR T-CRAFT, the ONR/DARPA Ultra Heavy-lift Amphibious Connector (UHAC) and the USSOCOM drop-stitch Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRC). Most recently Mr. Kline functioned as the USV lead for a large system integrator in their capture of the LCS Unmanned Influence Surface Sweep (UISS) contract opportunity. Prior to joining Navatek, Mr. Kline was the Technical Director and Program Manager at Lockheed Martin where he worked on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), sea-basing, oceanographic research vessels (AGOR 26), unmanned surface vessels, commercial off-shore crew and pilot boats, and high-speed ferries. Mr. Kline also served as Functional Design Manager for Gould’s surface ship and submarine towed array and handling system programs. Background skills include new business acquisition and proposal management, program management, system engineering, and research and development. Program management experience includes both firm-fixed price development and production contracts in the fields of naval and ocean engineering and robotics. He is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University’s (DAU) Executive Program Manager’s Course for Program Executive Officers (PEO) and ACAT I and II Program Managers.
