He has taught advocacy courses for many years at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Osgoode Hall Law School and Crown Attorney's Association Continuing Education Programs. He has lectured on advocacy for the Canadian and International Association of Forensic Sciences. He developed and co-chaired the Law Society's Charter of Rights Update Program bi-annually since 1993. Recognized for his practice in Criminal Law by The Best Lawyers in Canada in 2006 - 2011, as well as Canadian Who's Who in 2010. He is frequently a legal commentator on both CHML AM 900 Radio and CHCH television in Hamilton.
