Industries have included metals & mining, energy and general industrials. Perform relative value analysis on positions to help better express trade views. Take part in credit reviews where analysts pitch ideas for inclusion into portfolio. Risk-Manage portfolio on a daily basis to meet investment guidelines for ratings exposure, duration profile, sector weightings, and jump-to-default. Conduct a position-by-position stress test of the portfolio monthly. Work with technology department to develop trade screening tools and risk management tools for both portfolio level and position level management. Credit Trader responsible for trading all credit products within Harbinger’s High Yield Asset Management Platform. Manage relationships with sell-side community: traders, sales people, research analysts.

Trade screens included credit & equity curve trading, convertible arbitrage tools, capital structure arbitrage tools, volatility arbitrage, and credit basis trading.
