• Acting as the in-house product expert on the firm’s Canadian equity strategies and liaison between various teams including the investment teams, compliance, and distribution.
• Collaborating with all Guardian Capital entities to create, build, and maintain a robust sales and marketing collateral customized for different distribution channels and geographies.
• Researching and analyzing industry trends for the creation of competitive reports for multiple distribution channels.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the Canadian equity investment strategies’ investment approach as well as ongoing developments including positioning, trading, characteristics, holdings, and trends.
• Acting in partnership with investment team members to prepare timely quarterly strategy commentary and ad hoc communications.
• Responsible for the creation, accuracy, and review of information in key business development and marketing documents such as RFPs, RFIs, pitch books etc.

• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing Executives, Investment Management professionals and other departments for the creation and distribution of presentations, RFPs and RFIs.
• Draft and maintain prospect and client servicing presentation decks in Microsoft Powerpoint.
• Responsible for accurately updating and maintaining firm and product information in eVestment, Mercer GIMD, and other consultant databases.
• Generate and maintain analytical data on investment products with Thomson Eikon, eVestment Analytics, Mercer Insight, and Bloomberg.
• Gather and edit data, text and graphs used in business development.
• Assist in the response to requests from consultants.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and maintain a database of insurance policies for the department, underwriting department and external parties.
• Forecast Full Time Equivalent (FTE) requirements for department.
• Compile monthly broker performance scorecards for management use.
• Manage multiple responsibilities daily including completing reports, resolving customer complaints, responsibilities as a licensed insurance broker, and ongoing special projects.
• Act as department’s representative in company’s efficiency committee.
• Document information for reports used by supervisors, underwriters, team members, and senior management.
