Vice President Industrial Division and Corporate Officer Developed and now manage a new division of a 70+ year old privately held construction company, focused on developing new markets in industrial type construction. Special focus for this division is US government work within US Army explosives/propellant manufacturing facilities in Kingsport TN and Radford VA as well as regional industrial clients involved with chemical manufacturing processes. Responsible for ground floor development of execution teams, safety team, QA/QC team, creation and management of all budgets, pre-construction activities, estimating, procurement, scheduling, and financial management of civil, structural, and mechanical construction projects. Directly responsible for 30+ employees including PM’s, engineering (in house and 3rd party) field personnel, and office staff at Quesenberry’s Kingsport TN offices. Position requires extensive knowledge and skill in BD, marketing, engineering standards/design review, specification implementation, construction means and methods, OSHA, quality control, environmental oversight, interaction with owners/engineers and stakeholders, creation of budgets, cost analysis reporting, assigning team and individual responsibilities. Through June of 2023 (in less than 6 years)- successfully completed over $35MM in projects onsite at HSAAP, and Eastman Chemical with current backlog of $23MM through 2025.
