    Direct an Economic and Policy Research Center within the Eberhardt School of Business and McGeorge School of Law. Since January 2016, this is a joint academic appointment as Professor of Public Policy in McGeorge School of Law where I teach in the Masters in Public Administration (MPA) and Public Policy (MPP) programs. The Center for Business and Policy Research (CBPR) was originally founded as the Business Forecasting Center on the Stockton campus in 2004. It was renamed CBPR in 2015 in recognition of the Center's growth into a broader range of economic policy areas, and physical expansion to the Sacramento campus. CBPR is the most visible outreach unit at the University, with over 1,000 media quotes in the past decade, and numerous presentations and consultations with business and government leaders across Northern California. The Center has received over $5 million in grants and contracts over the years from a variety of public, private, and non-profit clients. We continue to produce economic forecasts for Northern California, but are increasingly engaged in research and consulting on current economic development, planning and policy topics including housing, workforce development, water and transportation.
