About Jeffrey Oar

Being a manager is about finding great talent and helping them reach their goals and potential. This all starts with conversation in the beginning of an employees career to find out where they want to go, and then developing a plan through sincere conversation and frequent training. Having managed logistically difficult and challenging stores over the past 7 years I have helped dozens of employees navigate their way through intense training programs so that they could learn to overcome the challenges we have faced in our industry. This, in turn, has helped each one of them continue to progress towards their goals, whether it be moving into HR or continuing down the path of management. Each have had unique experiences where I was able to mentor and guide them so that they could achieve their career goals.When I am not training and mentoring my employees, I am busy working on improving processes in the stores I manage to help drive costs down and revenue up, all while creating a fun and inviting atmosphere in the office where teamwork is encouraged with employees. Together, working as a team, any situation can be overcome with a feeling of true success and recognition. Last year my team helped implement new processes which enabled us to maintain our costs the same, dollar for dollar, over the previous year while increasing profits in the branch by 63%! During this same period I have had 14 employees receive promotions moving them to the next level where they have implemented the processes they learned with me resulting in their branches increasing profitability significantly. By helping and working together, great things can happen in any business.
