Transition new products/components/materials and processes into manufacturing New product electrical characterization - includes all work to understand and measure the electrical behavior of new PV cells and modules. Several specific areas of electrical characterization required for PV module products are: (1) impact of light illumination levels of PV cell power output (2) impact of PV cell temperature on module power output (3) Impact of cell cracking and other electrical defects on Module power output (4) impact of optical properties (reflection/transmission) of various construction materials on PV Module power output. Provide inspection systems and metrologies to improve manufacturing system for the newly developed product.Plan qualification tests, manage coupon/module building and ownsdata collection of output (test/reliability) parameters from theseExplore new ideas & designs for the innovation & improvement of current solar modules & panel.Provide essential solutions to address problems on aesthetic & electrical problems of solar panels & modulesDrive process characterzations for existing and new technology platforms Qualify existing equipment / process for NEW product changes and new material introductionsDevelop and /or deliver new and existing technologies through the process development business process till Full Production statusWork with cross functional groups to create/update specifications for materials and procedures

- Have worked directly with US R&D guys for advance Product Development- Stayed in SunPower US Facility for a total period of more than 1 year, primary roles are : product electrical characterization and material qualifications

- Explore new ideas & designs for the innovation & improvement of current solar modules & panel- Provide essential solutions to address problems on aesthetic & electrical problems of solar panels & modules- -Work directly with US R&D counterpart, operations and engineeringdeployment groups to successfully certify the material/technology to be used in manufacturing. such as UL, TUV, CSA,JET, KEMCO and other market requirements.

- Support Equipment Qualification in partnership with Equipment Development Team- Monitor STO data, COV data, Mini-Marathon data and initiate improvement to achieve set and agreed target Goal- -Owns flash testing and other Module electrical Inspection Systems (i.e. Dark Rsh measurement, Cell and Module Dark IV, LLVoc values, Hi pot, EL and hotspot) – tool qualification and characterization

- Testing of different components of the solar module package- Perform advanced electrical measurements & non- standard testing- Work with vendors/ subcontractors to arrange various services including fabrication of test set ups- Coordinate, Organize & execute experiments. Data gathering & release of timely reports- Perform initial data analysis typically in JMP & Excel- Reports & coordinates to Module design R&D Manager & engineers

- Solar coupon & solar module assembly (soldering, circuit formation, lamination & flash testing)- Solar cells, coupon & module testing (electrical, optical)- Module & coupon reliability testing, including field testing

Operates appropriate equipment in performing functions utilizing departmental standards and procedures- Ensures good quality output based on defined parameters and control on- time delivery of products- Assist in setting up work station- Assist Engineers during evaluation and experiments- Responsible for buddy system of new operators- Assist on the certification programSPC Team Member- Takes lead role in assuring stability of process and quality of products- Assures that SPC is implemented in the process- Guides team members to fulfill their duties in SPC
