The Housing Authority of Morehead has been in existence since the 1960's. We own and manage 222 apartments in Morehead KY for low income, elderly and disabled individuals and families. We serve approximately 550 people through our federally subsidized housing developments. Tens of thousands of people in the Morehead area have been housed over the past 50+ years. I have an office staff of 3 and maintenance staff of 4 very dedicated and motivated men and women.

I was Owner and Operator of a fuel/oil distributorship in Morehead KY. We transported fuel from the refinery in Ashland KY, to the Morehead area where we distributed and served 6 surrounding counties. Our niche was small mom and pop grocery stores, farmers, and construction companies. At our peak in the 1990's we ran 3 delivery trucks and one tractor trailer.

Cairo Egypt

At the General Dynamics Lima Army Tank Plant in Lima OH one of the projects that I was responsible for was training a group of Egyptian welding Engineers for a co-production program. I was then recruited by the GDSC to go to Egypt and set up a welding school. The welding school was a huge success and then I was promoted to the position of Welding Production Manager where I oversaw all of the welding stations that produced the M1A1 Abrams Army Tank.

Lima Ohio

GDLS build the M1A1- M1A2 Abrams main battle Army tank for the US Government. I worked in production, welding appurtenances on the turret of the tank. I was recruited to be a welding instructor in the factory welding school. All welders had to be certified to Military Specifications. I mastered and taught 20 different welding certifications including robotics. I also was the trainer for overhead cranes and tank drivers.
