Director Of Information Technology - Home Entertainment Supply Chain
Responsible for providing SAP functional support to the Home Entertainment Supply Chain Operations business departments. This includes setting long-term and short-term goals with business leaders, prioritizing requests, approving budgets, and developing and deploying solutions within SAP. These can be new business initiatives, improvements to existing functionality, or providing custom functionality within SAP ECC 6.0. The SAP modules supported are SD/AR, FICO, and MM/PP.My team is also responsible for the exchange of all EDI (ANSI X12) documents that support Supply Chain Operations. This includes supporting existing customer requirements, and implementing new customers and documents. We also maintain output messages, partner profiles, file ports, and aid the business with Idoc error resolution. Commonly used EDI documents include Manufacturing Purchase Orders (850), Goods Receipts (944), Vendor Invoices (810), Inventory adjustments (867/944), Customer Sales Orders (850), PO Acknowledgements (855), Advance Ship Notices ASNs (856), Customer Invoices (810), Financial EDI FEDI (820/812), and Point of Sale POS data (852). My team ensures the receipt, acknowledgment, transformation, and proper posting in SAP of over 50k business documents per week. For outbound transmissions we ensure SAP jobs are completing properly, Idocs are in a completed status, and the successful translation and transmission of the document has occurred within Sterling Integrator.We also provide 24/7 production support to the 50+ SAP business users across the various departments; Customer Service, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Production Planning, and Purchasing.
