Led team of 10-12 developers, business analysts, and project managers supporting the University’s financial systems with primary focus on ERP and EPM support along with a suite of integrated cloud applications. Additionally, the team delivered advanced financial business analytics and reporting solutions. Supported systems included Oracle EBS, Banner HR / Student, Concur Expense and Travel, TouchNet, and Syntellis Performance Management. Implemented Agile Scrum for delivering analytics increasing efficiencies and collaboration across a matrixed team. Success led to expanding agile practices leveraging Kanban for incident / support tickets resulting in improved incident resolution times and the elimination of stove piped support roles across the team.Served as a hands-on solutions architect for new capabilities automating manual processes resulting in cost reductions and overall improved efficiencies. Examples include delivering custom Research Trackers supporting billing, sponsor reporting compliance, and award closeouts for the University’s sponsored projects and the development of an automated Cash Flows Statement eliminating extensive manual preparation by accounting team. Acted as the primary liaison for the Finance organization with IT for all financial system enhancement requests. Coordinated across business areas to identify project prioritization, define projects, and develop / execute project plans.
