Working for small firm researching and facilitating Real Estate and commercial transactions. Duties include previewing or drafting title opinions, contracts, counter terms, memos, response and demand letters, litigation, and blog posts.

Clerking for small firm that focused almost exclusively on car-vs-bicycle crashes, injury recovery, and bicycle advocacy. I took to drafting and filing complaints, motions, summonses, demands, worked discovery, trial prep, and trial assistance. I also did varying types of research and client support. Other tasks included promoting the firm's name and mission through community engagement, blogging, and volunteer work.

Preside over what is easily the most amazing group of bike racers and individuals to grace the planet. Roles and responsibilities include a unique interest in herding cats, buying a well-maintained converted schoolbus, learning the powers of delegation, celebrating every teammate's successes, commiserating every setback, raising money and volunteering time to righteous causes, every level of sponsor relations, blog writing, event planning, and eventually selling a torn and tattered converted schoolbus.

Managing a nearly 40 year-old 501(c)(3). Presiding over a board of 8 other Directors to plan, promote and administer a season of track racing with 2-3 events occurring on a weekly basis spanning over the course of 6 months. My first year's planning in cost management measures yielded an unprecedented return in revenues whilst elevating participant satisfaction. I've also managed relations and affiliated agreements with the Northbrook Park District and authored a Director's handbook where there was none. For all intents and purposes, the goal is for present and future Directors and Presidents of the Northbrook Cycle Committee to have ever improving stability and engagement from their delegates. That and have fun and be satisfied with their volunteer work.

Everything necessary to 1) maintain a respectful presence within our community/culture & 2) maintain compliant expansion without compromising our product or service. Day to day duties would entail receiving orders from customers, fielding several customer service inquiries, processing and dispatching work in a timely and cost-effective manner, biking and/or driving countless deliveries, reconciling books, managing cost projections, etc. One super-proud accomplishment includes navigating a successful acquisition of another courier company, especially in spite of that whole, ya know, recession thing.
