Health Care Intern working under the director of Quality. Worked on a number of projects including but not limited to Patient Satisfaction, Clinical Operations improvement in ICU, Clinical Documentation Improvement, Sepsis Bundles, and Readmission rates.

As a Clinical Care Extender we get hands on Experience in a clinical setting. While working with nurses we get to observe the nurse and patient interactions. Being part of the leadership team I am able to assist in running the Clinical Care Extender program at my site of 400 interns. I am the Project Coordinator for the Health Care Administration Branch.

Filed inpatient and outpatient lab reports. Ensured accuracy of those reports. Received and rotated stock that was received in the lab. Organized pathology slides to be easily accessible.
