Two of the principles I live by are teamwork and accountability. I truly believe that success is achieved when the two go hand in hand. In 1995, I began my career in asset and wealth management as a Research Associate at Ernst & Young Institutional Investment Advisors in Philadelphia, PA. Though I spent just over two years there, I am grateful for those experiences to this day. My professional path was shaped by the mentors I was lucky enough to have in my career. They instilled in me the lessons and values which I turn to every day and hope to pass on to the next generation. For 16 years, I was with Affiliated Managers Group in a variety of senior roles. My last 6 years as the Head of US Distribution for AMG Funds, overseeing the firm’s strategy, sales, marketing, fund acquisitions and investment product distribution of $60 billion in fund assets and $80 billion in SMA assets across the affiliates. In 2018, I moved to Los Angeles to be close to my family. It was there I took on the role of Deputy CEO and Head of US & US Wealth Management for iM Global Partner.When taking on a new role, I found it important to take with me the values of teamwork and drive I have held throughout my career and when playing sports in my earlier years. I strongly believe that asset and wealth management is about forming partnerships; providing aid to stakeholders to produce a situation where everyone can benefit from a long-term investment mindset. I saw my move to iM Global Partner as a unique opportunity to extensively use the skills acquired across my 26-year career to deploy this philosophy and truly be a part of something special.I take pride in the progress we have made and find passion in the work we do for our clients, partners, and shareholders. My priority is establishing a sense of mutual alignment where success is achieved on both sides. iM Global Partner currently has $38 billion in assets under management. With consistent teamwork and mutual responsibility, we aim to hit $150 billion by the end of the decade or earlier. The world of finance is remarkably different today than at the beginning of my career, and I believe that active anticipation and being open to change / innovation is key to what will keep a firm on top and evolve over time.
