I come to everything I do with compassion, energy and empathy. And, of course, I try to bring a whole lot of creativity, thoughtfulness, focus and fun. It's hope that motivates me. From the simplest to the most complex, our gifts as designers, artists, technologists, thinkers and producers afford us the tools to help others make a better life for themselves, create healthier and more equitable communities, and craft deeply emotive and memorable experiences. It's said that I have an innate ability to look at disparate challenges and help make sense of them; to translate complex issues and ideas in ways my collaborators, audiences and clients can understand. With that, I'm not afraid to say what needs to be said, when others might not. For me, there is nothing better than seeing a teammate unlock their creativity and flourish! Take that idea and run, sell it, and deliver it. It's like seeing a young player mastering a skill or technique, the sense of achievement and success is written all over their face, it's even in their step and stride! It's awesome. I try each day to bring out the best in people, see them as they are, listen to them, and give them the confidence to find something inside of themselves that they didn't know they had. Being genuine is the foundation to achieve all of that, I believe that is why people and especially creatives are drawn to me, and me them. It's an honesty of purpose and a selflessness that makes all the difference. I'm alive and at my best with dynamic, diverse and passionate groups that are committed to people, creativity, and leaving the world a better place.I bring strong executive and design leadership, coaching and mentoring, brand and user experience, human-centered design, expert knowledge of architecture and construction, and brand strategy and development skills that can help companies and institutions reach their goals for the future.
