For the past 10 years I have been in the fabrication industry working on a brake press for 2 different companies. While I was working at these companies, I was attending school at Moraine Park Technical College going for my associates degree in applied science for interactive media design-animation. I received this degree in May of 2021. With this degree I gained experience in almost every program attached to the Adobe Creative cloud suite. These programs included photoshop, premiere, after effects, illustrator and animate to name a few. Besides Adobe I gained experience in Autodesk programs 3ds Max and Maya. I also learned to how to work in the Unreal Engine game design software. Using these programs I was able to do 2d animation, 3d animation, game design, storyboard design and animation, concept art, video editing, photo editing, graphic design and numerous other areas. I may not have experience on the job, but I do have experience with the programs that the industry is using. If there is a program I don't have experience, I will learn how to use it and will master it. One thing that I must say is that I am very passionate about the animation industry. I love seeing the ideas from my mind and the minds of other come to life either on paper or digitally. I enjoy seeing how those ideas affect people. Seeing the smile come across their faces or the tears shed in that one heartfelt moment. It's these moments that make this job worth while.
