Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector. Conducting generic internal inspections of pressure vessels which fall within the scope of API 510 or any equivalent national requirement or site based risk inspection plan. Provide detailed inspections and assessment of a pressure vessels internal components.Utilize appropriate supplemental nondestructive examination including dye penetrant, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, radiography testing and or other testing disciplines as required. If repairs request are required, initiate and send for Lead approval and exception. Provide client with a formal report of inspection finding and repairs prior to vessel closure. Assist in piping inspections as required in the event and ensure company standards / codes are followed.

Field Lead Inspector for APTIM Suncor Base Plant.- Quality Control position for the construction of Blow down line, demolition and reinstate of Line. - Ensure Quality program NDE and inspections were complete, documented and signed off by Suncor's client representative. -Assist in Quality issues throughout the project duration and managed issues with Engineering and Quality assurance.

Quality Assurance representative at Fluor. - Maintain a role as a Quality Assurance representative for the Prime contractor and was assigned multiple sub-contractors. Duties included approving all Quality documentation prior to arriving on site and approve a quality plan based on each sub-contractors contract. Attending weekly contract meetings to address any issues or road blocks related to quality before the work start. During the Covid pandemic many Welding procedures were witnessed through video and mechanical testing before company approval. Issue NCR's to sub-contractors who did not comply with the requirements of the contract, and did routine surveillance in the field to monitor construction activities. Attending meetings with colleagues to align and develop ideas to ensure our Quality program was clear and useful. This included meeting with our client as well to align and medicate any concerns. This role included many discipline such as Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and Electrical.

Reporting to the Site Manager; and working under the direction of the customer Lead Inspector, Troubleshoot , problem solve and perform on-site inspections on equipment and piping.• Piping QA inspector site wide, completed final review and walk downs of contractor work scopes before final sign off.• Generated repair request for work scope deficiencies for Engineering approval and disposition. • Completed furnace burner inspections, TI inspections and Radiant /Conventions tube inspections as required.• Ensure all welding activities have approved welding procedures and qualified welders.• Review and approve ITP’s for accuracy and compliance with Suncor standards/code requirements.

QC Inspector ( Structural/ Architectural)

Piping / Structural QA Inspector

•Execute the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction installation activities on site.•Issue the relevant Quality Records, send non- conformances reports to Quality Control Lead, ensuring that the inspections and controls are carried out and documented in accordance with the Quality.•Control welding parameters and consumables during installation/construction activities.•Control procedures and qualifications of welders.•Check the availability and suitability of the filler material and of the preheating, welding, heat treatment, the bevels. Check the extent of the repairs made by the various welders and taking any corrective actions.•Perform Pipe line up check, ensuring that all installed pipe/fittings are to the correct specification and that the material is in accordance with the specified Material Traceability requirements.•Carry out visual inspections.•Accept Non Destructive Test-NDT inspection.•Review procedures of NDT parties.•Ensure that all Welding, Heat Treatment, any hardness testing, Inspection and Non-destructive testing are in compliance with the relevant codes and specifications.•Collect and manage/check certification testing, control and inspection documents, ensuring that all welding and testing related records form a complete package.•Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan by Construction Contractor.•Examine work in progress and effectively supervise repair procedures.

- Monitor welding activites on shop floor.-Witness Hyrdo testing of pressure vessles.- Audit radiography film on a regular basis.- Have a close working relationship with Client QA to resolve any concerns.
