In December 2012 I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelors of Science in Education, Health and PE. This was my second Bachelors; my first came in 2005 from Arkansas Tech University in Health and Exercise Science. I have always had a passion for educating and working with others. Being the son of an educator and coach, I've seen firsthand how big of an impact a teacher and coach can have on a child. My philosophy is to create an environment that shows each student they are capable of making healthy choices, both physically and mentally. Every student has the potential to be something or do something great. I will be an educator who is dedicated, resourceful, and innovative. I promote respectful open communication, and I feel personally responsible for encouraging a sense of self worth for each student through education. It is my goal to encourage socialization, sportsmanship, and team spirit by motivating students and athletes to envision education and sports as an enjoyable part of life.
