Jeff is a former clinical practice manager and current preclinical / translational research laboratory administrator in the Department of Medical Oncology, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA. As a Hematology Oncology practice manager in the Division of Hematologic Malignancies, he worked with some of the field's leading clinicians, pharmaceutical companies, and with patients and their families; facilitating both standard and investigational treatment schedules and protocols. In parallel, under the Chief of the Division of Hematologic Neoplasia, Jeff also managed the operational systems of the Jerome Lipper Myeloma Center - DFCI's research center focusing on "bench-to-bedside" development of novel therapies for Multiple Myeloma - a malignancy of the blood and bone marrow.In his current role, Jeff is central to the operational and programmatic administration of a preclinical / translational research laboratory in DFCI's division of Molecular and Cellular Oncology. The laboratory studies and drives the development of new, improved, and individualized therapies for patients with blood and solid tumor cancers.Jeff holds a B.A. degree in Health Sciences from Lasell College, Newton, MA., where his curriculum was self-designed with dual focus in Physiology and Psychology. Jeff also has an extensive background in the area of Integrative and Complimentary Medicine, including studies in acupuncture, design, formulation and application of traditional plant-based medicines, bio-energetic theory, and 'mindfulness meditation'.Jeff currently lives in Quincy, MA.
