Our activities include professional Spanish-language translation for print and digital distribution of content for theological education, resilience in ministry and whole-life discipleship/faith and work. We also provide English transcription services for sermon and conference audio.

Courses taught include ED/PSY 260x Educational Psychology/Human Development (undergraduate), ED 309 Foundations of Teaching English as a Second Language (undergraduate), ED 6400 Foundations of Teaching English as a Second Language (graduate), ED 6420 Linguistics for the Classroom Teacher (graduate), ED 6450 Assessment of Learners who are Bilingual (graduate), ED 6470 Methods and Materials for Teaching English as a Second Language (graduate), ED 7410 Practicum in Teaching English as a Second Language (graduate), LR 5570: Group and Organizational Communication (graduate, M.A. in Leadership).

Courses taught include SPAN 2401 Writing for Linguistic and Cross-Cultural Competence and SPAN 2400 Professional Internship. Designed both courses' implementation in Canvas LMS, training of in-country staff in online course administration, full oversight of budgetary planning and administration, hired, trained and supervised three full time staff, assisted Assistant Director with supervision of 20+ part-time/in-country cultural and linguistic mentor/tutors for each program student, administered, analyzed and reported on pre- and post- program IDI and LTI student test results (OPI, WPT, RPT, LPT). Met individually (in-person and/or online) with 20+ students monthly for personalized, one-on-one cross-cultural and Spanish second language acquisition mentoring based on results of IDI and LTI tests. Supervised in-country student research projects. Coordinated and supervised student in-country internship placements. Provided vocational counseling/orientation as requested.
