Jeff Strack is President and CEO of Indiana Grocery Group, LLC. (DBA as Strack & Van Til). He is an accomplished executive responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership. He works closely with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team to produce positive company results while driving continual improvement. Jeff has created a culture of excellence and accountability by developing an empowered, engaged executive team focused on associate engagement and development while driving overall growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Under Jeff's leadership, Strack & Van Til has grown to 23 locations and is Northwest Indiana's #1 Grocery Store- they are the heart of the neighborhood. Their focus is to make people's lives easier by providing an outstanding shopping experience through exceptional service, clean stores with product variety, and solutions that will continually evolve to meet the needs of the customer and communities they serve. They remain continuously focused on diversity, equality, and inclusion and always value and treat everyone with dignity and respect; they strive to make every customer, associate, and business partner feel welcome, important, and appreciated! Jeff is a strong proponent of Strack and Van Til associates, customers, and giving back to the community. He believes he is the keeper of the company's culture. He was named President and CEO in 2016; from 2014-2016 was the Chief Marketing/Strategy Officer; from 1998-2014, he was the VP of Operations. Jeff has worked for Strack & Van Til for over 30 years, holding various store-level positions, including Store Director.Jeff earned his MBA from Purdue University Northwest and his bachelor's degree in business administration from Indiana University Bloomington. Jeff is currently the President of the United Way of Northwest Indiana. He serves on the board of directors for Associated Wholesale Grocers, The National Grocers Association, Alliance Retail Group, and St Catherine's Hospital. Additionally, he serves on numerous advisory boards.
