I am Jeffrey Stringer, Currently and in recent years, I have been working as an EMT-I, safety coordinator on an offshore oil platform off the coast of Central California, platform Hermosa (PXP). Related duties involve a positive attitude and a professional appearance, costumer relations by phone, internet, and personal interaction, scheduling transportation for employees and contractors, safety inspections, and implementing the policies and procedures for (PXP) required by PXP EH&S,BSEE, USCG and CAL-OSHA, on location, and creating a safe work environment for others. In addition, I have some experience with heavy equipment when I was an all-around roustabout for Quinn Rental Service in Oxnard, Ca. There I did it all, from Delivering equipment to costumers, customer service in the office and assisting mechanics with day to day maintenance, and repairs.; Maintain Respiratory Protection and Gas Detection Systems on Customer Locations to assist with Customers Regulatory Compliance, Provide Training and Fit Testing, Rig Up and Rig down Secorp Systems on Customer Locations. Inspect Safety Items on location, Conduct Site Specific Orientations, Dispatcher Duties, and Assist with Medical Support.Implementation of Customer Safety Programs and Policies, provide additional Safety Support during plant shutdowns.
