The wide range of daily tasks keeps my job fresh. Whether it be assisting a technician in the field diagnose anything from a fire panel to a raid array there is never a shortage of challenges. My current interest lies in expanding on my experience and knowledge in Network Administration as well as Cyber Security.

My role at U&S is to take a project from the design stage and implement the solution at the customer's site. I oversee the installation of equipment with on site trades and provide corrective action when issues are discovered. During installation I also begin the start up process by mounting equipment. For fire alarms this entails mounting of circuit boards and termination of the wires. For camera equipment it usually involves rack assembly and beginning the planning stages of my wire management strategy. Once physical installation of equipment is complete the next step includes programming of panels and/or servers as well as end devices. After start up troubleshooting begins as well as documentation of any changes made from the original design. Once the project is complete I provide training for the customer and address any issues they may have and turn in the drawings for final drafting. As well as installation I also am responsible for maintaining and servicing the systems we install. With the technology continually evolving there is always new product emerging that we work with so it is unlikely to have the same job twice. U&S has provided me with significant amount of troubleshooting skills, panel programming experience networking and improved my ability to think on the fly. Working here always provides new challenges and I always do my best to make sure my customer is satisfied before I finish any job.

My main responsibility at Circuit City involved unloading and stocking of all merchandise. Duties also included inventory management, shipping and receiving, delivery preparation, filling in for delivery drivers when absent, assisting customers (returns, credit apps, transactions, product questions, service items) and just basically providing whatever service I was able to perform for my customers. I enjoyed my time at Circuit City and from that experience I have taken with me a thorough understanding of customer service and inventory management.

I started my first job as a detailer at the carwash. Duties I was responsible for included basic detailing at the end of the wash while maintaining a fast pace to avoid congestion in the wash bay as well as support other associates with clean towels and providing service to customers with any requests they had while monitoring quality control of the wash. I also spent time at the front end of the wash power washing, assisting customers with entering the wash bay and "programming" the wash while surveying the vehicle for any possible hazards that may cause damage to customers vehicles. Nightly closing duties involved closing cash drawers, rinsing out the wash bay, washing towels, cleaning the mirrors, "sticking" the gas tanks and submitting fuel orders for the next business day deliveries. The last year of my career at Delta Sonic I also performed sales to wash customers.
