I began my professional engineering career, after serving in the Air Force - while pursuing my Masters Degree at Cal Poly Pomona - working for the County of San Bernardino, in the Environmental Planning Agency. When California 'Proposition 13' dismantled our agency (1978-9), I was recruited to the private sector, as a planner/civil engineer, to take advantage of my recent academic credentials, government connections, as well as processing and procedural insight.I was mentored on-the-job, applying state-of-the-art technical training and at the forefront of computer-assisted design and drafting - in civil engineering, surveying and construction management - that was comprehensive, practical and value oriented.I have compounded my knowledge over the years by continually adding and evolving my contemporary technical planning, environmental, engineering design, leadership and mentoring skills, as well as expanding construction, domestic and military project management roles - working as a consultant, or contracted to developers/builders in turn-key Project Manager roles.I succeed in managing, processing and completing projects from inception to final sign-off, occupancy - through leadership, passion and connectivity.This comprehensive knowledge and access base/experience gives me considerable advantages with insights, mitigations, resources and management capabilities for infrastructure, facilities and construction projects, at all scales, types and agency levels.I can direct most aspects of any discipline or development for any client or agency.
