Team lead supporting crew scheduling software applications and providing automated solutions, optimizations, and on call production support. • Migrated and refactored 25 on premises windows applications, 4 UIs, and 3 SQL databases into an Azure Cloud Architecture with a hybrid kubernetes cluster and Azure data lake solution. This had many benefits including lowering the cost of application hosting by 50% and allowing crew and administrators an enhanced user experience by keeping related content grouped together in a single pane of glass. • Developed an ADO DevOps Pipeline to create container images from a GitHub source and version them in an image Artifactory. These images are staged for CI/CD into shared kubernetes clusters for DEV QA Stage and Production. • Migrated a subset of data from a 4TB relational SQL database with 335 tables with indexes, 180 stored procedures using SSMS Migration tools. The reduced database size was 250 GB with built in archival and saw an increase in performance.• Created a hybrid resource management system using Terraform by HashiCorp which enabled automated provisioning of on-prem and cloud infrastructure during and after migration efforts.

Merged crew systems from legacy data sources into a common Crew Api service, with SQL repository. Modernized crew data practices affecting schedules, pay, vacation, and raised confidential PII data awareness and implemented security best practices.• Created an event driven crew on flight manifest system that transmitted crew manifest information for departures and arrivals of 650 flights daily. • Modernized the process for generation of a master crew list used to identify crew by the TSA and corresponding government agencies outside the United States of America. The process used an event driven design to send updates for employee information changes as well as new hires.

Upgraded the Actuarial Portal for the Aetna Medicaid actuarial division by adding new reporting capabilities, SSIS data migrations, and stored procedure optimization. • Facilitated the data gathering process from 7 third-party data sources using SSIS and stored procedure work flows. The project normalized data into a SQL Star schema for business intelligence. • Create a Content Management System (CMS) for hundreds of actuarial tutorials and report customizations. The system linked keywords with navigation and persisted customization made by actuarial administrators into a relational SQL schema.
