Serve as the company’s leading technology strategist responsible for product implementation, engineering, research and new technology development. Key corporate responsibilities include investor relations, corporate/business strategies, and new market development in a growing company. The primary CTO responsibilities include managing customer product engineering across a wide range of industry, process and materials applications, as well as representing the company to the scientific community and leading product development programs to broaden the application of the product line, particularly in the direction of targeted high value opportunities. Additional areas of involvement and contribution include technology acquisition, corporate technical education and intellectual property strategies. Patent on the technology issued in 2010.* Designed and managed a development program with a customer that produced the leading commercial food service drinking water filter meeting the NSF 42 Bacteriostatic Filter performance standard.* Established a medical device development program that provides customers with the data necessary for FDA clearance of antimicrobial devices, which requires regular monitoring due to continuously evolving policy. Catheters using Agion have been clinically proven to reduce infections in preterm infants from 22% to 2% according to a 3 year study of 86 patients. * Developed a new category of textile finish that combines multiple agents to provide next-generation technology to top sports, activewear and fashion brands.
