During my early work career, I led by example by being a successful sales executive at Moreton. This success led to being offered a partner position at one of the fastest-growing insurance brokerage firms in the Intermountain West, Diversified Insurance Brokers. I decided to sell my brokerage firm six years ago after 18.5 years of solid profitability and growth to the third largest insurance brokerage in the world, Arthur J. Gallagher. I continue today as an area president for Gallagher. This change in position has created other free time, which allowed me to focus on other entities I have invested in. I have also done a fair amount of board work for other companies. I donated significant time while serving as the President and Chairman of the Board for USA Team Handball for the United States Olympic Committee. I also chose to serve on the board of a NASDAQ publicly traded firm, Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. While on this board, I also served on their audit and compensation committees.
