Arranger And ComposerEnsembles Including The Grant Park Symphony Orchestra Jan 1982 - Nov 2017My arrangement of Le Thiere's L'Oiseau du Bois for Piccolo and strings was performed by the Grant Park Symphony, James Paul conducting and featuring Sally Sherwin as soloist, on July 3, 2000, with a simulcast on WFMT.My arrangement of Franz Krommer's Concerto for Two Clarinets and Orchestra Op. 35 for 10 winds has been performed by Larry Combs and Mel Warner with The Sheffield Winds; separately by Larry Combs at De Paul University; by the U.S. Army Field Band on tour with clarinetists Cathy Ogram (currently with Old Dominion University) and Tom Puwalski (now a free lance clarinetist and educator and author of "The Clarinetist’s Guide to Klezmer"); and by the Eastman Wind Ensemble under Donald Hunsberger with clarinetists Nathan Williams (currently on the faculty of the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin and principal clarinetist of the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra) and Mary Beth Skaggs Malek (now on the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh and principal clarinetist of the Pittsburgh Opera).Several arrangements of mine were performed by the 266th U.S. Army Band. The Auburndale, Wisconsin commissioned me to do an arrangement. I am a former member of the American Society of Music Arrangers.In 2017 my composition "Mescalero Concert March" was premiered by Dr. David Fodor and the Wilmette Community Band, and also performed by Dr. Jeffrey Scott Doebler and the Windiana Concert Band (link below). Also in 2017 my composition "Regimental Slow March" was premiered by the South Shore Brass Band.

We played the unique repertoire for this instrumental combination, featuring the Beethoven Op. 71 and including works by Mozart (the original sextet version of K. 375 which is more well known as an octet), Danzi, Castil-Blaze, Krommer, Kreutzer, Druschetsky, Von Weber, Pleyel, and others.
