Provided project management and data analytic support for the VA Peer Review contract over multiple phases of the project lifespan (2018 to date). Tasks included the sending and receiving of encrypted VA hospital patient files to physicians for peer review in order to facilitate VA quality improvement. Created reviewer PDF templates to receive peer physicians responses, as well as project dashboards for tracking current cases out to reviewers. Maintained an Access database for updating the status of all peer review cases.Provide high level project management and data analytics support for the California Technical Assistance Program (CTAP), a federally funded program offering MU (meaningful use) assistance to clinical practices over multiple phases of the project lifespan (2011-2018). Tasks include performing all MU attestations for large hospitals and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) across the state of California. Provide comprehensive tracking for the MU progress of all providers within each hospital or practice, determining all providers are on target to meet deliverables in line with practice goals. Make site visits to practices to ensure completion of all MU processes for each provider including CMS registration (Center for Medicare/Medicaid), establishing an SLR account (State Level Registry), reviewing MU measure reports from practice EHR (electronic health record) system to verify that providers are meeting all measures and submitting final attestations to the SLR.Provided project management and support for the Brandeis EGM (Episode Grouper for Medicare) project over multiple phases of the project lifespan (2011-2015). Tasks included overseeing the development of condition and treatment episode grouper data stored in the EDD (Episode Definition Data) online SAS database. Assisted with changes made within the EDD database for the triggers, relevant diagnosis, relevant service and sequelae of selected condition and treatment episodes.

Acted as Project Manager for the Lumetra Local Extension Center, helping to enroll, implement and optimize electronic health records (EHRs) for over 1,000 primary care physicians and clinics throughout the Greater Bay Area. Helped to establish the Lumetra LEC from its onset and setup the procedures that were in place over the four years of the project. Tasks included overseeing the management of 12 service partners and 3 project managers, weekly conference calls to discuss practice status, maintaining tracking for milestones due, and ensuring that milestones were received and entered correctly in Salesforce and the Provider Status Spreadsheet (PSS). Enrolled physician practices throughout the Bay Area and Central Valley with the LEC, overseeing all issues regarding enrollment and eligibility. Presented at Medical Society meetings to gain enrollments and led webinars with 100+ attendees. Created detailed tracking documentation including detailed Excel formulas used to track program milestones earned. Created documentation used to track and forecast budget estimates.Oversaw the development of a survey of ePCR and HIE adoption in Emergency Medical Service Agencies (EMSA) throughout all of California’s counties. Created a project schedule showing tasks and deliverables, assigned each California county to survey representatives, as well as tracking and ensuring that deliverables were met in a timely manner. Drafted the final report on the consolidated responses that analyzed the data findings in the EMSA survey responses, as well as showing conclusions and recommending next steps.Co-managed the creation of a pharmaceutical research report for Takeda Pharmaceuticals on the twice-daily dosing use of proton pump inhibitors for acid reflux. Created project management and schedule documentation to ensure that deadlines were met. Obtained secure health plan data for use in the report. Created content for the final report delivered to Takeda.
