Front Line Supervisor of Trade Inspection Level II VT ASNT/ AWS CWI I currently have 14 Trade Inspectors under me and 2 Admin Clerks on my crew.I have three manufacturing plants that I cover along with 2 shifts at each location. One of the requirements is overseeing the QA Trade Inspector group on all shifts, at the following locations EBMF, Harding’s and the Main yard. This group is overseeing all structure and pipe inspection. Along with doing work order audits on the fabrication groups.As the FLS, I am required to track budget hours per Hull, that we were allotted. I am required to give an explanation for going over budget. We also had a service agreement that we would respond to an inspection within 24 hours on land and 8 hours on the water. We were required to hit that GTT Service agreementWe currently are working to the MIL-STD-1689A Fabrication, Welding, and Inspection of Ships Structure, MIL-STD-248D Welding and Brazing procedure and performance qualification, MIL-STD 22 Joint Design, and MIL STD 278 Welding and Castings

Covering 3 Railroad bridges for M&J Engineers (Owner of the bridges is the Long Island Railroad) I am working to the NYSSCM,AREMA and AWS D1.5 codes

Covering the rehab of the Tobin Bridge for Mass Dot. Along with other Mass Dot Jobs. I am working to the MASS DOT and AWS D1.5 codes

I am overseeing the super structure for the Eastbound side of the new Tappan Zee Bridge that is beginning fabricated in Claremont NH. Im also overseeing part of the Westbound side too. My job is to ensure all work is being done to the approved contract specification and the current drawing revisions. I am working to the NYSSCM and AWS D1.5 codes along with the project specifications item 564.05000099 Structal Steel Main Span.This also involves reviewing all the NDT reports and all other documentation prior to shipping.

Started as a welder/ Fitter in 1999 and moved up to working in the QC department. In 2000 I became a level two MT , level two PT and achieved my AWS CWI.Worked as a lead foreman and arrange projects to flow the most efficient they could. As a lead I carried all my weld certs FCAW 6GR, SAW, GMAW,GTAW,SMAW.In 2009 I became the QC Manager. Even as the QC Manager I kept all my welding certs current for teaching new welders and testing.I stayed in this position until 2014.In 2000 i was certified as a level 2 MT and in 2010 I became a level II UT.This is an AISC shop and carried all the endorsement of Bridges, Buildings and Paint we worked to AWS D1.1,AWS D1.5 and ABS

Welding and Fabricating slide gates , dampers, bellows ,expansion joints ,pump skids and gas diverter boxes.Welding certs FCAW,GMAW ,GTAW ,PMAW and SMAW.I worked with stainless steels ,Inconel , titanium and carbon steels.This was mostly shop work with some field work which involved installing the products.

Started at a semi skilled welder and moved to a first class welder in a year in a half. Wanted to be trained and test in GTAW. Was informed there was a seven year waiting list decided it was time to move on.Weld certs at here were FCAW all positions, GMAW,GMAW Pulse and SMAW all positions inclueding 6GR.
