Accountable for ASIC layout design, database management, and tape out. Coordinated layout related task with ASIC foundries/ design houses (TSMC, UMC, AMI, Atmel) and other ASIC deisgn groups in Medtronic.- Developed an IC for glucose sensor transmitter which plays a critical role in the world's first artificial pancreas approved by FDA. This AFE IC is the latest custom mixed signal and mixed level sensor interface IC. It interfaces with multiple glucose sensors and has EIS capability. - Developed an MD IC for an external insulin pump that integrated a microprocessor and analog electronics. MD IC is an ARM based controller which includes an ARM 7 processor, flash memory, EEPROM, various peripheral modules and the full custom sensor interface circuits.- Developed an GST IC for the Glucose Sensor Transmitter integrating a microprocessor and analog electronics (system on a chip). It is a Long Term Glucose sersor interface IC based on H2O2. It is the first custom IC for an earlier Continuous Glucose Monitoring system.- Help Medtronic Cardiac & Vascular Group to develop n3v and HVIC ICs used for implantable defibrillator.
