As Product Manger for PrimeX, I am responsible for determining customer needs and desires in this product area, setting priorities for development, specifying modficiations of the software and assuring that the implementations perform as specified. I contribute to the production of documentation and monitor it for completeness and accuracy. I provide marketing assistance with direct customer interaction and through competitive analysis. I also perform scientific research in this area, relevant to the product mission. Show less

Provide expertise in macromolecular crystallography and molecular modeling to software users in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Participate in the development of new software products. Recommend functional design, optimize software use protocols, test software applications and review documentation. Verify the existence and resolution of software problems. Carry out protein structure and X-ray crystallography research projects.

The goal of this project was to produce protein crystals that can rectify electric current. The primary goal of this research was to design and produce new biomaterials through covalent cross-linking of protein monomers in crystals. Protein fibers were produced from maltose binding protein, demonstrating that our technique is a viable method for producing biomaterials ordered at the nanometer scale. Show less
