Verde Technology Ventures is a Corporate Venture Capital affiliate of Firstrust Bank and Hatch Bank. Verde Ventures invests in both fintech-focused venture capital funds and directly in venture-backed fintech & fintech adjacent companies for the benefit of Firstrust and Hatch, furthering the corporate development and corporate strategy efforts of the banks.

- Analyst for Firstrust’s Fintech focused subsidiary, Hatch Bank, constructing prospective partner memos and profitability models and managing implementation onboarding for new partner Fintechs- Spearheaded the reorganization of multiple lending divisions into a consolidated Commercial Lending division- Directed an internal task force that implemented and managed technologically focused products and processes within the Bank’s branch system and Commercial Lending division- Essential member of the Bank’s online banking conversion project team, converting 35,000 online users; oversaw vendor management, processing data integration, and testing and developing the user interfaceActive and valued participant in all Credit Policy Committee, Asset/Liability, and Board of Director meetings

-Underwrote, structured, modeled and closed over $500 million of CMBS transactions issued by major investment banks in all asset types. -Produced credit committee presentations and investor presentations with loan and property summaries, market outlook, risk and mitigates and sponsorship analysis.-Analyzed rent rolls, property financials, offering memos, and other loan documents to underwrite and provide advisory services for clients.

-Presented investment thesis research to Managing Principals, discussing a new investment thesis regarding a high growth, niche market industry undergoing a major product substitution and conversion trend -Developed a high level of financial modeling proficiency; constructed numerous leveraged buyout models from scratch with varying degrees of complexity and structure-Researched, analyzed, and compiled list of potential acquisition targets that fell within Graham’s investment themes-Aided deals team during calls and meetings, notating and developing approaches to better understand growth prospects, deal value, and deal dynamics
