I co-founded First Chair Capital, initially partnering exclusively with WhiteHaven before joining the team as a partner. WhiteHaven focuses exclusively on the Phoenix market, acquiring and renovating value-add commercial multifamily properties. To date, we have owned and operated over 1,000 units across nine properties in Phoenix, with full-cycle projects averaging 43% IRR over five exits.

• Create and modify design documents and drawings for various types and voltages of electrical substations from Distribution Stations to Power Plants.• Design one-lines, three-lines, control and logic schematics, wiring diagrams, relay panel arrangements and specifications, conduit and cable sizing/routing, and bills of materials.• Prepare and manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that project metrics are performing.

• Configured, deployed, administered, and troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers, voice gateways, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), virtual private network (VPN) appliances, wireless gateways and controllers to serve LADWP business needs for Corporate and SCADA networks.• Designed network systems for the Power SCADA system.• Assist in keeping LADWP NERC CIP compliant for WECC audits, specifically in CIP 5 and 7 requirements.• Create networks for special projects such as Distributed Generation (DG) and Smart Grid, Mobile Network Emergency Systems, and ICCP links to other utilities.

AAPA is a non-profit organization that seeks to inspire, develop and promote Asian Americans to achieve maximum career and leadership potential.• Founding member of the AAPA Admin Board to run the operational side of AAPA's mission of developing Asian Americans to achieve their leadership potential.• Led a team of five to host workshops and general sessions. Over 100 members were regularly in attendance, including executives from various companies.• Re-launched the social media campaign resulting in a 600% increase in Facebook followers.• Strategized with other Admin Board members to improve the logistics and operations of AAPA. • Wrote and directed a 10-minute skit highlighting the benefits of AAPA.• Conducted demographic studies of mentees in the program for informational and statistical purpose.

• Executed system coordination studies ranging from 220kV-4kV substations.• Designed relay settings for various ABB, GE, and SEL electromechanical and microprocessor relays.• Analyzed system faults using digital fault recorders (DFRs) to calculate fault locations and specified type and duration of electrical faults.• Provided technical recommendations for in-servicing, routine maintenance, and installation of substation equipment.• Reviewed and approved protection requirements for WDAT, GFID, and Rule 21 of various interconnection customers.• Designed and reviewed one-line drawings and AC/DC elementary diagrams.• Trained new engineers in analyzing short circuits, designing relay settings, and accurate fuse sizing.
