MY BACKGROUND:My career in finance began over 25 years ago working at Lasalle Talman Bank in Norridge, IL. I enjoyed many years learning about banking and investments. I moved on to work in sales for a CPA firm in Chicago, IL. It was here where I learned the principles of taxation and I gained a true understanding of a clients financial needs. In 2002 I accepted a position working in mortgage banking as a Mortgage Loan Originator. My current position is Branch Manager and Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist with Wintrust Mortgage. WHAT IS A CERTIFIED MORTGAGE PLANNING SPECIALIST?CMPS® is a designation recognized by the Certified Financial Planners (CFP®) Board of Standards for mortgage planning. This certification affirms I have taken my mortgage education to the highest recognized level. Training includes: Financial Markets & Interest Rate Analysis, Cash Flow & Debt Analysis, Real Estate Investment Planning, Mortgage & Real Estate Taxation and Ethics & Compliance.
