Managed a team to gather mission system requirements for program development and oversight of C2 systems for aerospace warning, aerospace control, maritime warning, and ballistic missile defense. Provided assessments relating to new and upgraded C2 systems for senior leaders of NORAD and USNORTHCOM. Represented NORAD and USNORTHCOM within the Nuclear Command, Control and Communications, National Senior Leader Decision-making System, Satellite Communications, and Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Communities of Practice. Developed proposals for entry into the DoD acquisition process. • Engaged closely with key federal integrators, consultants, designers and distributors to lead the delivery of a $41 million Command Center Information Technology and infrastructure modernization on budget and ahead of schedule leading to complete customer satisfaction. Federal agencies included DOD, Sandia Nat’l Labs, FAA, FEMA, DHS and Canada Command. Planned and coordinated system design and installation and upgrading of hardware and software. Consulted and coordinated with the COR for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, training needs, and task clarification.• Key contributor to the end-to-end architecture efforts of the a SOA-based, platform agnostic National Senior Leadership Decision Support System that will converge, consolidate, and optimize critical systems, leveraging and reusing existing assets/investments for maximum ROI• Analyzed need and initiated acquisition process for replacement missile warning and decision support IT system, working with partners across the Department of Defense Knowledge Manager and Information Exchange Broker for USNORTHCOM Future Operations Cell.
