It is a leading manufacturer of timber frames, wall & roof systems & all the components needed to take a home to a dried in shell, as well as, offers design, raising & installation services. Became a partner in 2011 & in 2016 bought out the 3 remaining partners. With over 30 years experience in this industry, I have done every role; from sales, to operations, to marketing. Primarily focused on developing and servicing target markets in the US through ongoing trade shows, visits with builders/dealers, architects, developers and builder associated “friendly’s” as well as past retail clients. Also supported Normerica’s in-house sales staff through “on the ground” client/builder follow up and events/shows in target markets. Lead the efforts in Colorado with respect to generating, contacting and developing retail leads. Coordinated all architectural design requirements, organized construction services, assisted in financing, and closed retail sales of large Timber Frame packages (and associated materials), along with construction management services throughout Colorado in support of our Dillon CO office. Operations:Responsible for staffing, scheduling, facilities and equipment annually producing approximately 100-120 custom Timber Frame material packages with associated pre-manufactured insulated wall panels and miscellaneous material packages. Chaired safety committee and was responsible for OHS compliance. Managed all inventory requirements, scheduling and logistics including shipping to sites throughout Canada, US, and overseas. Responsible for building, guiding and scheduling Design and Engineering staff of 7 designers, 2 quantity surveyors and one engineer. Group was responsible for generating architectural review drawings to satisfy sales requirements, final reviews, and all permit and construction drawings. Design team was also directed through producing all bills of materials, including cut lists, miscellaneous material lists and all shop drawings and details for the timber frame and wall panel production facilities.
