Completed two successful phases to analyze and upgrade the client’s $300 million fixed-income investment software application resulting in a projected 5-year NPV savings of over $100,000. Interviewed Subject Matter Experts to gather computation-intensive requirements, created 30+-page requirements document for each project phase. Analyzed requirements, suggested database improvements and wrote requirements document for application development staff. Performed job duties of DBA and QA for software testing. Created 200+ page overview document describing the application, all database tables, and reference material. Created user documentation for IT Applications Dept. Created data dictionary from database. Created workflow process flowcharts in Visio. Used SQL to view, query and interact with database tables, and used SSRS for report viewing.

Created a database to organize all UMB real estate and building related data. Initiated, designed and completed a 5 Gb database project to scan and index over 12,000 blueprints for dozens of buildings. Created and optimized network file and sub-directory structures for use by building engineers. Created budgets and cost/benefit analyses for various projects. Analyzed and documented business requirements, created process flow charts, and recommended improvements for various departments.1997-2000Corporate Project and Construction Management Liaison for the construction of a $40+ million, 200,000 sq. ft. Technology Center. Organized the relocation of 650 personnel and their equipment; created and maintained a database for all data pertaining to the relocation. Advised senior management on construction, relocation and security issues. Created Project plans as needed. Defined objectives and measured progress during all phases of the relocation. Wrote the RFP for voice/data wiring and worked closely with the installation contractors. Worked with IBM Project Managers to develop the project plan to relocate the corporate data center and related network equipment.1988-1997Weekend shift supervisor in data center. Responsible for operation of all computer mainframe and midrange systems, servers, tape library, call center, ATMs and centralized network equipment.
