I'm amazed day in and day out by just what a creative and focused mind can accomplish, and I relish the chance to support my team by helping them focus the best they have on the problems at hand. Always with the long-term vision in mind. It's truly incredible what can be accomplished by the little daily steps towards a goal.My military experience in the US Marines exemplifies who I am. I led through a combination of a strong work ethic and empathy, helping each member of the team grow to be the best version of themselves. The same principle-centered style that led me to excel as a Marine translates well to the business world - each and every member of my team will both know that I will work hard to understand and support them, that I'll expect them to work diligently, and know that I'll work hard myself. "We have two ears and one mouth because we should listen twice as much as we speak." I understand the power of truly listening to other people - whether its within our team or with our customers. If you don't understand the people you meet, how are you ever going to help them? It's always fascinating to me how things work. Walking through from the examination of pain points, understanding the reasons behind them and the need that drives them, and helping people reach creative and effective solutions to those problems. Connecting the beginning and end of a gap analysis often involves connecting systems across different verticals, perspectives, cultures, and even countries. This requires experience gained through diversity - professional, educational, and life. This varied experience can amplify an understanding of how a system works, and provide a solution that a silo-based approach might not. My experience as a Marine grounded me in being effective; my education from Isenberg provided me with the in-depth financial wherewithal and the soft skills required for successful collaboration across professional disciplines. We Marines have world-renowned resilience and problem-solving skills necessary to meet multiple goals in the highest-pressure environments. I am excited to see the growing opportunities in business, and have seen first-hand both the difficulties in embracing change as well as the benefits of well-executed changes. The diversification of the Health and Wellness services industry, for example, is rife with change. Change means opportunity for those willing to embrace it.I am open to any conversation or opportunities to grow, leveraging my project and change management skills. Let's see how I can help solve our challenges together!
