Jeff has accumulated extensive experience with mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, capital raising and related corporate finance considerations, including over 100 initial public offerings and numerous multinational joint ventures. Jeff’s thirty eight year career has spanned several industries including energy and oilfield services, consumer products, waste management and distribution. Jeff has served a number of the world’s largest private equity investors and has been recognized as one of the world’s leading tax advisors for M&A transactions by International Tax Review magazine.Jeff recently retired as a Vice Chairman with Deloitte, he was a member of the Tax Executive Committee and led the Office of the CEO/Strategic accounts program. In this role, he managed the firm’s 150 most strategic accounts for Deloitte Tax. In addition to various leadership roles, Jeff served as the lead partner on several of the firm's most strategic clients. Prior to leading the OCEO portfolio, Jeff served as the Chief Development Officer for Tax. In this role, he was involved in assessing appropriate acquisition candidates, optimizing strategic alliances and was extensively involved in innovation efforts. Jeff also served as Regional Tax Managing partner for Mid America, Office Tax Managing Partner-Houston, the Deloitte Tax LLP Board of Directors and the Board of Directors for the Deloitte US firms.As a Deloitte US Board member, Jeff served as the Chairman of the Regulatory and Legislative Affairs Committee and a member of the Strategic Investments Committee and Partner Earnings and Benefits Committee. Jeff is qualified to serve on audit committees as a financial expert.Jeff served on the Board of Pearl Meyer & Partners, one of the leading Executive Compensation consulting firms. He now serves as a director of MSC Income Fund, Inc where he also chairs the Audit Committee. He previously served as an Advisory Board member on a number of non-profit boards in the Houston area. Jeff is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Jeff received his Bachelors of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
