Lawton, Oklahoma Area

Responsible for the administration and certification of 9 instructors in support of Mission Command Arts and Science Program (MCASP). Provides institutional instruction on the Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS). Develops training materials to expand the Warrant Officers Basic and Advance Courses using Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS). Designed and administered tests and visual aids with a focus on connectivity throughout the Battle Command Systems. Coordinates with other program managers to keep abreast of and update training material as well as instructor certification training. Trained and technically supported over 1500 Soldiers for the Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery Captain’s Career Courses, Warrant Officer Basic and Advance Courses, Air Defense Artillery Advanced and Senior Leader’s Courses as well as the Field Artillery Master Gunner’s Course to include simulations. Supported over 700 training events. Briefed several American and Foreign Dignitaries, VIPs, Student groups, and Fort Sill personnel. Maintained accountability of all assigned equipment valued in excess of $1,000,000.

South Korea

Responsible for defending combined forces command critical assets. Also, responsible for the organizational maintenance and operational readiness of one Tactical Command System (TCS) valued over $6,000,000. Trained, evaluated, and provided the overall care of 53 personnel and their families. Empowered personnel with the strategic knowledge necessary to certify on their equipment. Developed a training program that enabled personnel to complete their collective training certification; a task that had not happened in over two years previous. Served as the overseer of a $1,000,000 upgrade of the Battalion’s Tactical Operations Center.

El Dorado, Arkansas

Recruited, ensured enlistment eligibility, counsels applicants on the enlistment programs and their options, prepared applications, and coordinated their enlistment into the United States Army or Army Reserves. Maintained accountability and assumed full responsibility for the training of all Future Soldiers prior to their departure to Basic Training. Served as a liaison for the United States Army to the local community covering an area of 3500 square miles with a population of 60,000. Built and maintained a community of influencers to include Future Soldiers, their families, and Community Leaders. Responsible for ensuring there was a strong rapport between the United States Army and the 10 High Schools and 2 Universities within the area. Selected as the Top Producing Recruiter of the year in 2009. Sought out by peers and Leadership alike for the vast knowledge in recruiting. Developed training, tactics, techniques, and procedures that increased the Station’s productivity and were used throughout Battalion. Served as the Station Commander on numerous occasions and fulfilled the responsibilities accordingly.

Homer, Louisiana

Served as a Youth Pastor in the Homer, Louisiana area. The Youth Program grew from 1 student our first night to 60 students in less than 60 days. Created an atmosphere of worship and poured the foundation of the gospel into the students lives.

Camp Taji, Iraq

Provided professional support and technical guidance to all Soldiers in a Medium Truck Company. Planned, managed, and monitored the Unit’s motor transport operations while in a Combat Theatre of Operations. Coordinated with all Motor Transportation hubs throughout the Theatre for either the pick up or delivery of Military Equipment. Responsible for the planning and execution of 150 convoy missions. Assumed this position without any formal training, providing diversity and adaptability. Developed all the measures that were utilized since an Air Defense Artillery Unit does not typically fulfill these types of roles.

Fort Campbell, Kentucky/Fort Stewart, Georgia

Led personnel throughout the Iraqi Theatre of Operations. Provided Security for personnel, equipment and Air Assets. Successfully and safely escorted over 90 convoy missions which secured over 8,816,060 liters of benzene and 2, 833,180 kilograms of propane during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Trained personnel to fulfill missions that are non-traditional roles of the Air Defense Artillery while in combat operations. Selected as the 101st Airborne Soldier of the Quarter in 2002. Selected to cultivate an Air Assault School training program. The program resulted in a 100% Air Assault School graduation rate. Led his team to a second place finish out of 64 teams in a Battalion Top Crew Competition in 2002.Prepared, operated, maintained, and fired the Avenger and Man-portable Air Defense System (STINGER). Established and maintained radio and wire communications. Performed target engagement evaluation. Applied Infrared techniques to detect and engage targets. Operated identification, friend or foe programmer/charger. Resupplied ammunition and prepared systems for firing. Performed emergency procedures for weapons systems. Maintained sight alignment on systems. Operates and maintains system carriers. Collected and consolidated intelligence information. Processed special and periodic reports. Prepared and maintains situation map. Transmitted intelligence and grid locations of incoming targets. Designated fighting positions. Alerted firing batteries. Transmitted alert status and readiness changes. Placed first out of approximately 24 crews in a Stinger Top Crew competition.
