I have over 40 years of experience in real estate and general commercial law. I also have extensive experience in assisting private and public companies in securing financing, grants and other benefits for capital projects through the auspices of government agencies and lending institutions. I represent a myriad of privately held businesses as general counsel offering advice in connection with banking relations, general administration, employment, contract law, real estate leasing and acquisitions and other business related issues. I also represent various not-for-profit entities such as Columbia Grammar & Prep School, The Friars Club and am actively involved in the development, as counsel, of the first Museum of Civil Rights to be established in the North East.In addition, I have served as counsel for the trustees of various Industrial Development Agencies and am a recognized authority in the negotiation of industrial revenue bond financing. Over the course of my career I have represented various entities in their acquisition of corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities including but not limited to Madelaine Chocolate Novelties, Petrocellli Electric Company, Crystal Windows & Door Systems, Paladia, Inc., and The Training Center for the Greater New York Automobile Association. Additionally, I am on the boards of numerous private charitable and other not-for-profit corporations including Young Men’s Philanthropic League, United Hebrew Geriatric Center and Fenway Golf Club where I served as President for eight years.
